Local boys The Whisky Jax have recently got through to the second round
of the Surface Unsigned Festival in Birmingham. The band, who pride themselves
on standing out from the local music scene, played at The Flapper and Firkin on
the 11th April. A combination of their unique style and polished
performance won them the industry vote which gives them a chance of winning
£5000 in cash, a 4-day UK tour, plus much more.
To get through the second round, which is being held at The Custard
Factory, Birmingham on the 27th June, The Whisky Jax need all the
votes they can get. To vote for the band, just text ‘Midlands 3241’ to 64343.
Texts cost £1 plus your standard network charge but 10p from every text gets
donated to Oxfam.
If you feel like coming to the show and supporting The Whisky Jax in
person, tickets are available from the band for £7.
